What is this?
It is a cargo tracking service «Novaya Pochta» that will help you to find out the location of the cargo.

How does it work?
To track your cargo (package) you need to know the number of the waybill that consists of 11 or 14 figures starting with 1, 2 or 5. Enter the number in the form below and click the «Track» or press «Enter».

I cannot track and trace

To understand when the difficulties with package tracking may occur let’s see what happens with the declaration (waybill) in case of different ways of drawing up.

For example, let’s consider three types of waybills: their numbers begin with the figures 1, 2 and 5.

The waybill which number starts with «1» is drawn up when the client deliver the goods at the disposal of a courier. In fact, with the invoice number already exists but cannot be registered until the courier arrives in the office of the company (according to the rules the registration is performed throughout the day). Thus, there is a period when the sender knows the number of the waybill and can say it to the recipient but it is not possible to track the package: it is not yet registered in the System.

The waybill which number starts with «2» is drawn up online before the cargo will be delivered to the warehouse of «Novaya Pochta». Most often it is done by online shops sending goods to their customers. Since the registration of the package in «Novaya Pochta» system comes only when it is delivered to the warehouse, the recipient cannot track the already existing waybill before.

The waybill which number starts with «5» is drawn up almost simultaneously with the registration. This occurs when the client delivers a package to the branch office of the company: in this case he immediately receives a declaration with a registered number in the system. Such package is tracked from the beginning.

It is also important to take into account the fact that in case of cargo dispatch from the branch office that does not have its own base (in small towns, for examples) the registration can take a few days. This period depends on the frequency of the cargo dispatch. Within this period the waybill received by the client cannot be tracked in the system.
